In memory of Max our first Labrador
A Further message to our visitors in memory of my first Labrador Max, who really got us started with labradors.  He was an amazing character who selected immediately in our home after having been dumped in an area he did not know, he was very streetwise, we did not know his age.

I took him to training classes and he came top of the class in the test with a score of 98%, I was so proud of him, especially as he had only been with us for 6 weeks.   What was also remarkable was that he did not like other dogs but settled in perfectly with our 5 Basset Hounds!

His loyalty was totally to me and will never be forgotten.  One can truly say, he was what you would call a real dog!
