Annual Party 2007

This was the Labrador Rescue South East & Central Annual Party 2007. Here is a couple of very seasonal Fancy Dress entrants and one of the many party goers helping himself to some delicious home made dog treats from Bumpy's Bakery. Below are some of the other Fancy Dress entrants and they really seemed to enjoy all the attention!

What a wonderful day it was, the sun shone, there were lots of stalls and most important of all we had hundreds of Labradors all enjoying the 11th Annual Dog's Party. There were many events to keep us entertained with the waggiest tail and fancy dress contests but,as usual,the main event was recognition of dogs of loyalty and courage.

We were able to attend this great function and it was as always well supported, very enjoyable and successful. All credit to the organisers, helpers they did a great job. The food was excellent too and a great time was had by all. As alway we look forward to the next one!

Canine Partners for Independence

At our very successful 5th and 6th Anniversary Parties the Canine Partners for Independence came and gave an amazing demonstration. This is a registered Charity that specialises in training dogs, especially Labradors, to assist disabled people.

There is a link to their Web Site from our "General Dog Information" button on the left, so you can see just what they do. The rescue hopes to continue this co-operation with them in the future.
