Missing Black Labrador Bitch
At approximately 10.00 on Monday night, 20 November, Len let his dogs out for a last "comfort call" and one of them has simply disappeared and not come back.
This is rather bizarre as Len is our head gardener on the Buckhurst Estate and his cottage is situated up a private drive a mile from the nearest road, in the middle of 2400 privately owned acres and furthermore because it is totally out of character for this particular dog, who is well trained and obedient and has never run off or disappeared previously.
The dog, Liddy is a black Labrador spayed bitch approximately 9 years old. She is slightly lame in front due to arthritis. She is not microchipped and did not have an ID tag on her collar, which was merely a magnetic one for her arthritis.
She went missing from Withyham, which is on the East Sussex - Kent borders between East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells.
